FINANCIAL PLANNING CONSULTANT
Quality
Engineer
We
are growing eastern suburban manufacturing company
in NE Ohio specializing in close tolerance machining
and fabrication.
Essential
Functions:
·
Provide support for review
of new product inquiries to assure all contract
requirements are identified and being addressed.
·
Provide support to
Manufacturing and Engineering for process
improvements troubleshooting,
problem
identification, and resolution of quality problems.
·
Investigate and process
Non-Conforming Material reports for discrepancies on
in-house parts, vendor parts and for Customer
returns.
·
Perform visual/dimensional
inspection.

Develop, apply, revise and maintain quality
standards for product and equipment, methods and
procedures for inspecting, testing and
evaluating the precision and accuracy of
products and/or production equipment.
·
Perform internal audits
and follow up of corrective actions.
-
Maintain a “business practicality” in all
quality decisions, recognizing that all
decisions have an impact on the profits of the
company.

Must have the ability to
lead improvement teams and work cooperatively with
all employees.
Position Candidate
Qualifications:
Prefer a BS in Mechanical or
Metallurgy Engineering with 6 years experience close
tolerance machining and fabrication. strong
background in ISO 9001/AS9100, FMEA, PPAP, 8D,
Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Auditing, Supplier
Certification and Complex Inspection is required.
Experience in Nadcap accreditation a plus.
Demonstrate strong working knowledge of GD&T,
Welding, Gage R&R studies and SPC. Demonstrate
experience interpreting blueprints,
Bill-Of-Materials, data sheets and test reports.
Possess strong computer skills with proficiency in
Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills
and ability to communicate with all levels of
management.
